redeveloping a Half-Century Old Building

Plaza on Broadway is a true representation of the revitalization in a neighborhood that can be ignited from constructing the right building at the right time. Plaza on Broadway represents a highly innovative project that transformed a run-down, under-utilized site into a vibrant living community for University of Colorado students. Located directly across from the university campus, the nearly 100,000 SF student housing complex provides 153-beds and 39 units throughout two buildings.

Prior to construction, the site consisted of a half-century-old, free-market apartment building owned by two fraternities. Brinkman collaborated with all interested parties and the end result was Plaza on Broadway, Boulder’s newest luxury student housing community. The project includes two exterior courtyards with entertaining areas, two secure underground parking garages totaling 28,828 SF, a private bathroom for each bedroom, a patio off every unit, luxury interior finishes, a fitness center, communal study rooms, and a central entertainment and game room. The South Building of the complex includes a 3,000 SF Acacia chapter room.
